Long, lazy days.

This last week of our holiday is shaping up nicely.  Today has been great.  It’s been a day of blistering Spanish sunshine, tempered by a lovely breeze by the sea at Cabo Roig.  Beautiful blue skies and sparkling, crystal clear water…rock-pooling and snorkeling.

The baby ripple is oh-so-nearly finished.  Lots of pesky ends to sew in then to decide on what type of border…I LOVE it when the end is so near.  And I’ve already got a huge list of projects lined up on my mental to-do list.  Let me at ’em!

I’m cooking this Nigella Lawson recipe.  My Mum’s lemon tree is drooping under the weight of all the lemons that are ready to be collected.  It was wonderful popping out to the garden and picking fresh lemons, still warm from a day growing in the sun!  The smell in the house (lemony, garlicky chicken) is DIVINE!
